Carrier Connections

Getting enrollment changes to the carrier without someone retyping them.

How it flows

  1. Change

A new hire, termination or life event in the platform.

  2. Feed

The change goes to each affected carrier.

  3. Confirm

Discrepancy reports flag anything that didn't match.

  4. Fix

We resolve mismatches with the carrier directly.

Definition
A carrier connection, or EDI feed, is an electronic link that sends enrollment changes from a benefits platform to an insurance carrier.

Eligibility feeds

Our platforms connect with more than 150 major health and ancillary carriers. We set up and watch the electronic feeds that send new hires, terminations and changes to each one, so your team isn't filling out carrier forms.

Beyond the carriers

Eligibility has to reach more than the insurance company. We also connect to:

  • COBRA administration vendors
  • Payroll providers
  • HSA administrators

Discrepancy reporting

Feeds don't always land cleanly. Discrepancy reports show where the carrier's records don't match yours, such as a terminated employee still on the plan or a new hire missing. We work those reports so problems get fixed before they show up as a denied claim or a wrong bill.

When a feed isn't available

Some smaller carriers don't accept electronic feeds. In those cases we send changes manually and track them, so you still don't have to.

Let’s talk about your benefits.

Tell us what you have now and what's bothering you about it. We'll take it from there.
