Employee Surveys

Before you change a plan, it helps to know what the people on it think of it.

An employee benefits survey is a short, anonymous questionnaire that asks employees how they use their current benefits and what they would value most.

Questions worth asking, and what the answers tell you

How satisfied are you with your current plan and network?

Whether a carrier or network change is worth the disruption it causes.

Would you accept a higher deductible for lower paycheck deductions?

How to shape plan options and contribution levels at renewal.

Which added benefits would you actually use?

Where money for things like mental health support or pet insurance will be appreciated, and where it won't.

How well do you understand the benefits you have?

Whether the issue is the plan itself or the way it's being explained.

Why ask first

Employers often spend money in the wrong places. A richer plan that few people pick. A wellness perk nobody uses. A handful of questions before renewal can prevent that.

Asking also tells employees their opinion counts. That tends to help when a change isn't popular.

Keeping it anonymous

PAKG writes and runs the survey, and responses come to us, not to you. It's short, usually ten questions or fewer, and takes a few minutes on a phone. People answer more honestly when they know their manager won't see their name next to it.

Reading the results

You get a plain summary of what came back and what we think it means. Not a spreadsheet of raw answers. Then we use it to shape the options we bring to renewal and the way we explain changes at enrollment.

Let’s talk about your benefits.

Tell us what you have now and what's bothering you about it. We'll take it from there.
